Here is the very latest pdf scanned copy of the Z88 Service Manual dated January 1985. This version covers the Version 4 PCB which was the last circuit board made. Cambridge Computer did not issue everything in this manual. Where it is stated "AWAITING MASTER ARTWORK FORM CAMBRIDGE COMPUTER" this artwork was never issued. There are older versions on the web in different file formats. Thy might be the same version and be useful for comparison. Here are some of them.
I might also have an older copy of it somewhere. When I find it I will compare the two and see what the differences are This section also includes some projects that relate to testing the Z88. Cambridge Computer never made any 'Test Equipment' even though the manual states that they did. If any Test Equipment was required, this needed to be home build. It is intended to build some or all of these the progress of which can be followed here. |
