A new Z88 emulator is available!

The Cambridge Z88 Development team is happy to see that people out there also cares about the Cambridge Z88.

Cesar Hernandez has incorporated the Cambridge Z88 as part of his ZX Universe emulator, the ZEsarUX 2.0. What a nice surprise, and we never knew!

Pre-made executable binaries exists for Intel 32bit and 64bit x86 Linux Debian 7 (also compatible with Ubuntu 12+), Mac OSX 10.9 and for the Raspberry Pi (Arm CPU). The software is only available for Unix systems - sorry, Windows users!

The ZX machines & Z88 emulation is CPU-timing-accurate and also supports sound, so it has finally become possible to enjoy the few games that were ported to the Z88 with music and sound effects.

ZEsarUX bundles the UK V2 and V4 ROMS, including the stable ROMS that we have released; V4.3.1 and V4.4.1. Also bundled are examples of applications and ROM's. It's the first public release of his work, so let's see what the future brings!
