Z88 Assembler Workbench 2018.2 Release Notes
13th February 2018
This is a minor update of the tools, specificially Mpm and Z88card which has been improved with important bugfixes for compiling both OZ V4.7 and current development releases for OZ V5.0. The remaining tools are unchanged.
This release contains rock-stable editions of Mpm, Z88Card, MthToken and DZasm. Documentation, however is still in-progress work and will be completed in a future release of the Z88 Assembler Workbench.
The efforts in this release are:
- Mpm V1.5RC4
Linking now works for relocatable code when linking against static library
- source code compile improvements.
- Z88Card V2.0
- Fixed problem with path separators when z88card tool is compiled for Windows. Updated version string to "V2.0"
All source code that the Z88 development team produces, is primarily developed on the Unix platform (Linux and MacOS). All build scripts use Bash. All build scripts also utilizes Git for revision management, which must have been installed on your desktop operating system. You can download the git command line client from https://git-scm.com/ for your platform or as part of your favorite OS software channels (Linux distribtutions supply git directly via their software repositories).
