Here, you will find all information necessary to start developing Z80 assembler programs, with special features added for Z88.
We have made an effort to develop an easy command line interface and efficient assembler source file compiling for stand-alone application development or as a back-end for a high-level programming language compiler. We hope that you will enjoy your Z80 machine code development with our assembler. We hope this is a fairly easy-to-understand documentation, describing the Mpm assembler functionality thoroughly with many examples. As a complement we have also provided a compact quick reference when the developer just needs a quick glance to use a particular command line option or directive.
Writing good documentation is an art form. This text has been written with the best intentions. However, there's always room for improvement. Many different eyes help to spot spelling errors and explain things better. Feed-back is more than welcome!
