Sending an Escape Character

EazyLink Server, V4.4

During file transfer from the Z88 or the Client an Escape character sequence is sent when a true ESC byte needs to be transmitted, and not a request command. The Escape sequence is as follows:

                      ESC, ESC or 27, 27

Please note the difference between this ESC sequence for the EazyLink protocol and the ESC sequence for the PC-LINK II protocol (ESC "B" <HH>).

The ESC "B" sequence is not recognized in the EazyLink protocol and would result in a protocol transmission error.
