V1.1.5 Release notes

The Z88 Development Team has issued a minor improvement-release, OZvm V1.1.5. Since V1.1.4, a few improvements have been done. Most importantly, OZvm has been changed to save it's output to the end user home directory (having different meanings for each platform). Data were previously save inside the installed program folder, which gave permission errors on Windows 8.1.

We have created a 64bit GUI installer for Linux systems. The compiled OZvm executable is still 32bit, however. Most 64‑bit Linux systems do not have the 32‑bit libraries installed by default. If you receive a "No such file or directory" or "cannot execute binary file" message on an attempt to run OZvm, you need to install those libraries.

On Ubuntu/Debian, the procedure is as simple as:

sudo apt-get install ia32-libs

but it may be more complicated on other distros.

OZvm is a 32bit executable wrapped in a 64bit installer program. 32bit runtime libraries must be installed on your 64bit Linux to enable OZvm to run. On Ubuntu/Debian: sudo apt-get install ia32-libs
OZvm V1.1.5 - MAC OS X App.zip	2.0MB	2014/05/17	Download Zip, unpack and drag to Application folder. Supported to run on Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and newer. Requires Java runtime to be installed on your Mac system. Implemented with Mac look and feel user interface guidelines.
OZvm - V1.1.5 Java Jar + Z88 Roms.zip	1.7MB	2014/05/17	For all platforms with OpenJDK / Oracle Java 1.6+ runtime installed on your system: Download Zip, unpack into preferred folder on your desktop system. Type "java -jar z88.jar" to execute application.
