GQ-4X - A29040 512K Flash
General Description
The A29040 is a 5.0 volt-only Flash memory organized as 524,288 bytes of 8 bits each. The 512 Kbytes of data are further divided into eight sectors of 64 Kbytes each for flexible sector erase capability. The 8 bits of data appear on I/O0 - I/O7 while the addresses are input on A0 to A18. The A29040 is offered in 32-pin PLCC, TSOP, and PDIP
packages. This device is designed to be programmed insystem with the standard system 5.0volt Vcc supply.
- Plug in the Z88 Card into the Z88 Extender card
- The A19 lead from the Header connector on the EPROM Programmer need NOT be USED for 512K Flash cards.
- Select switch position to the right.
- Plug in the Z88 Extender card into the programmer's ZIF socket.Â
The Z88 Memory card is used just to get the correct spacing of the two cards but is removed before power is applied to the programmer.
Start up the program
- Remove the Z88 Card
- Connect the USB cable to the EPROM programmerÂ
- Connect to the PC and
- Initialise the EPROM Programmer
Check the ID
Select the chip
The AMIC A29040 512K Flash DIL chip.
Now plug in the Z88 Card.
